Macon County High is alright, but D. F. Douglass was dynamite. A school that we all love so dear, We wish it was still here. The old hall still stand to this day, A place where we learned to go our on way. The knowledge that we learn there and the friendships we made will stay with us until our dying days. Never knowing that one day thoses doors would close down, But never: I repeat never will the HORNETS PRIDE DIE DOWN.
