Class A Football State Champions!

The 1981 Class A Football State Championship game played in Montezuma. The "defense" was amazing. The Hornets defense was led
by Elmer and Kenneth Holmes, Fred Davis, Andrew McKellar, and they
shut down the Palmetto offense with just 118 total yards in the all-important VICTORY! Wilbert Cromer, Ken Collier, Darrin Simpson and Alvin Sims made the different on the field as well. Special Thanks to
Coach Garfield Stephens with 10 shutouts and the last a 20-0 win
over Palmetto High.
